Dear students,
Please follow the instructions (in order) on this page.


1) Using this link BrainPOP log onto BrainPOP.com
  1. If Egyptian Pharaohs does not come up with the link above, search Egyptian Pharaoh in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Click on Activities and print the Activity sheet.
  3. Click on the Vocabulary tab on top and print the Vocabulary sheet.
  4. Click on Egyptian Pharaohs and watch the video. *Complete the activity and vocabulary worksheet while watching the video
  5. Click on Quiz under the video.
  6. Log into our Google Doc Spreadsheet
  7. Write a pro and a con of being a Egyptian Pharaoh.


2) Go to BrainPOP
  1. Watch the video on Cleopatra.
  2. Click on Activities and print the Activity sheet.
  3. Click on the Vocabulary tab on top and print this sheet as well.
  4. Work with a partner to complete the Cleopatra activity sheets.
  5. Click on Cleopatra to go back to the main page.
  6. Click on Quiz.
  7. Click on Graded Quiz.

You may work with a partner on this quiz. Write both of your names on the quiz.


3) Go to the Egypt Fun Zone website.
      1. Scroll down and click on Vocabulary.
      2. Read the vocabulary words and definitions individually.
      3. Click on Crossword Clues on the left hand side.
      4. Complete the Crossword Puzzle and print.


4) On the left hand side of Egypt Fun Zone click on Pyramid Power.
    1. Read the article
    2. Click on Secrets of the Nile.
    3. Print the activity out and complete. You may refer back to Pyramid Power for assistance



5) Log into our class blog and write a paragraph comparing your life to the ancient Egyptians.
  • Now that we are finished with our ancient Egypt unit, write at least one paragraph as to how your life is different then those who lived in ancient Egypt.
    • Write in complete sentences.
    • Include at least 3 supporting facts.
    • Use spell check.
